Bridal Registry is an very important yet fun part of planning your wedding. Perhaps the easiest and funnest job of getting married is creating a bridal registry so that your guests will know what you need to get started as a married couple.

A bridal registry is a service provided by retail stores to assist engaged couples in the communication of gift preferences to wedding guests. Selecting items from store stock, the couple lists desired items and files this list with the chosen merchant.

One of the more popular categories of items couples choose to add to a bridal registry is cookware. Cookware comes in two basic grades gourmet and everyday cookware. The Registry is an efficient, hassle free way to put together the bridal registry you want, while making it easy for your guests to shop for the perfect gift. You may register with as many of the participating retailers as you wish.

The concept of a bridal registry is at times, looked upon as offensive, predominantly by guests of older generations. It is looked upon as asking for gifts and is seen as walking all over traditional gift buying habits. Whether it is for the wedding guest who has no idea what to get, or for the bride and groom, the bridal registry is a quick and easy way to discreetly request the items desired for wedding gifts.
It is not proper etiquette to include bridal registry information on your wedding invitations. The Bridal Registry at www.myweddingaccessories.com helps you decide what gift or accesory to purchase for the couple. You can select from a wide range of gifts or accessories chosen by the bride in our Bridal Registry.
What makes the job harder is that you have to pick from hundreds of gift ideas from her bridal registry. However, there are some websites that can help you decide by providing information on the top ten things that brides want. In an online bridal registry, you can register for barbecue, electronics, flatware, china and more, just like you would in an actual store, except you do so from your PC. Just log on to the online registry and check off the items you want to receive, or create a gift list for items that are not shown online. The bridal registry begins with a list of items from the store that the couple wishes to receive. This list is then provided to their wedding guests.

A bridal registry no longer has to just be dishware and monogramed items! Seek items of vintage value when it comes to bridal registry. As you choose wedding gifts, don’t forget the gravy boat. For instance, you both probably already own dishes, but a new set big enough for both to share, as well as guests, can be a useful item to add to your bridal registry. Pots, pans, and cookware are other common wedding registry items.
Be sure to take care of your wedding insurance.

Wedding Insurance

June 13, 2008

Wedding insurance is a tool designed to protect your investment throughout the planning process, and the event itself. Not only are you investing money that you would want to recoup if something goes wrong, you are also, as the host of an event, assuming liability risks for the safety and wellbeing of your guests. Wedding insurance is split into two types. The first type is where wedding insurance could save your big day. Wedding insurance is generally offered in packages or can be designed by couples on their own.

Wedding insurance is a wonderful addition to planning any wedding and should be taken quite seriously. For just a fraction of your overall wedding costs, you will be covered and will get a large portion of your money back or a rescheduled wedding should something happen. Wedding insurance is going to cover you, for example, in the event that something happens to the photographer and his camera is stolen and you don’t get your film, and you don’t get your pictures. It is not going to cover you if you get the pictures and you don’t like them. Wedding insurance is one of our newer products and can provide coverage for postponement, phtography or video errors, lost deposits, wedding attire mishaps, liquor liability coverage for the reception and more.

In a nut shell, wedding insurance is exactly what it says it is. It is an insurance policy that covers you and protects you against any accident or problems that might occur during your wedding. Wedding Insurance is designed to cover the unusual “what if” circumstances that might affect your wedding. It can provide coverage for lost deposits if a reception venue burned down or a hurricane hit a destination wedding location, extra expense to re-create wedding photos, extra expense to postpone a wedding if a key person became ill, extra liability insurance if someone were injured at the wedding, and so on. Wedding insurance is a plan designed to financially protect against wedding disasters. If the wedding reception is cancelled because of a fire at the wedding venue, or if the wedding rings are lost or there is a failure on the part of the photographer that results in the loss of those special prints, your wedding insurance plan can help you out.

According to figures released by Debenhams Wedding Insurance, the number of weddings cancelled has more than doubled in the past 12 months alone, but pre-nuptial nerves were the least of most couples’ worries. The survey found that the biggest reason for calling off a wedding was in many cases down to relatives being too ill to attend, something that wedding insurance is designed to protect.

Brides and grooms can opt to purchase two types of wedding insurance. There is wedding cancellation insurance and also wedding . With the cost of a wedding being so high you would think that more couples would take out wedding insurance just in case something happens to spoil the special day. However, an estimated 85% of couples planning to get married do not bother with insurance. Overseas wedding insurance will NOT cover you for overseas medical expenses so travel insurance is vital. When you are in the UK, you have access to the NHS for medical treatment but no such service exists in other countries.

Months of planning should mean that you can enjoy the day of your dreams. Sadly, however, things can and do go wrong. Make sure to get your Wedding Insurance as soon as possible.

Black and White Wedding Photography

June 5, 2008

Black and white wedding photography manages to create the stark contrasts between light and dark that seems to get lost in different shades of color. The subtle grey tones introduce different degrees of depth and interest but the polar opposites of black and white are always in force in these compositions. Black and white wedding photos have another advantage. If the weather is overcast or it’s raining on your big day, color wedding photos can look dreary. Black and white wedding photography gives a classic and timeless feel to your wedding collection and also works very well with the artistic and reportage styles in our coverage of the day. Crowded backgrounds often disappear by removing competing colours to leave the purity of the subject being photographed, adding to the very natural feel of our photographs.

Photographic coverage starts at the bride’s home, followed by the ceremony, and a visit to a scenic location to photograph your family, the bridal party, and the bride and groom. The photographer will conclude by taking posed cutting of the cake photographs at the reception hall before your reception begins. Photographing portraits require special skills in metering and exposure, setting aperture and shutter speed correcty and accurately in order to capture perfect skin tones and expressions. Style and pose are critical.

Black and white wedding photographers with all these skills are few and the most talented people in this field are hard to find. Beyond the technical expertise with cameras, equipment, and a knowledge of lighting both broad and sublime, wedding photography requires sensitivity, compassion, intuition and an eye developed over many years of photographing people. Photographers who shoot digitally can decide which images will translate best in color or black and white during processing, since they can choose after the fact.
These methods are also less costly than traditional darkroom processing and much better for the environment, since it does away with all the nasty chemicals. Photographers from these fields have filtered into the wedding industry and created a great new approach to capturing your wedding day.

Colorful photography does provide a lot of variety and includes various colors of nature and the beauty and variations of unknown colors too. But, black and white photography captures the still motions, the unseen but seen truth of a photo and the intensity of a picture. Color is all very nice but sometimes the rich tonal qualities that we can see in the work of the photographic artists are something certainly to be savored.
